Notes on ICD's Wait Times

for the Three Months Ending August 31, 2008.

This table shows how many adult patients have implantable cardiovertor defibrillators (ICDs) implanted at each of Ontario's 8 Type I arrhythmia centres each month during this time period. This table also shows how many patients, on average, are waiting for this procedure at each hospital at the end of the month during this time period.

The data reported in this table is not collected as part of the CCN computer registry or standardized data collection process, but is reported separately by hospitals to CCN at the end of the month. Therefore, wait time data is not available for this procedure at this time. If you have questions regarding a centres wait list information, please contact that centre.
